Incredible views from the room enhanced our stay, but the breakfast options felt too basic and unvaried.

    cozy atmosphere
    lively crowd
    weak wi-fi

The cozy atmosphere allows for light to filter through the blinds without making the room too dark. The dining area buzzes with a lively crowd during peak breakfast hours, providing a unique social experience.

The breakfast selections lack variety and substance—flat omelettes without any fillings and undercooked sausage prevent a satisfying start to the day. There are also maintenance issues like a toilet leak, leaving puddles that might be a concern for potential guests. Wi-fi connectivity remains weak in some rooms.

    lake view
    easy exploration
    helpful touch
    outdated room
    limited breakfast

The room had a nice view of the lake, making the mornings very pleasant. I enjoyed the proximity to local attractions, allowing for easy exploration. The ice cube machine was a helpful touch since there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room. However, the room itself felt outdated, with a musty smell that lingered despite opening the windows. The breakfast could use a significant upgrade. it offered only limited options like egg sausage rounds and toast, which felt basic. I expected more variety, such as yogurt or pastries. The pillows were flat, and additional comforts were missing, like a microwave. Despite these shortcomings, the staff were accommodating when we needed assistance.

    delightful breakfast
    musty smell
    dated decor

My stay at Ceilidh Country Lodge was lovely, with a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The location is fantastic, just a short 5-minute walk to downtown Baddeck. The included breakfast featured eggs, sausages, and fresh muffins, making for a delightful start to the day.

    Room smelled musty.

Positive, The location is fantastic with views of the water from the room. The beds were comfortable, and having two Adirondack chairs outside was a nice touch. Plus, it was pet-friendly, which was perfect for us traveling with show dogs. Can't wait to return! 😊

    Beautiful grounds with comfy beds

The property was stunning, especially with the lovely views of the lake just outside our room. I appreciated the comfortable beds, which made for a great night's sleep. The breakfast featured good options like eggs and sausage sandwiches, but there could definitely be more variety in the selections.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming lodge, enjoying the stunning lake views and the beautiful grounds. As a family with one child, we loved spending our time at the nearby beach and exploring the local trails. The owners were genuinely warm and welcoming.

For dads, it would be great to have more variety in breakfast options.

    nice location

Family with children definitely should think twice

The location was pretty nice, we walked to town often, enjoyed the open air and it was quite peaceful.

It wasn’t exactly low-cost, but felt tolerable overall.
